1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the BookBridge mobile application (the "App"), our website located at bookbridge.top (the "Site"), or any integrated cloud delivery features (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, you are not authorized to use the Service and must immediately delete the App from your devices.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Eligibility Requirements
To use the Service, you must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction to consent to the processing of personal data, which is 16 years of age in certain European Union countries). If you are under the legal age to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:
- All registration information you submit is truthful and accurate;
- You will maintain the accuracy of such information;
- Your use of the Service does not violate any applicable law or regulation.
3. Description of Service
BookBridge provides a utility platform designed to help users organize, format, cache, and transmit their personal library files (such as e-books, scripts, and documents) to reading devices. The Service includes, but is not limited to:
- Wireless Syncing: Parsing metadata and transmitting digital files wirelessly to e-readers, specifically utilizing Amazon's Personal Document Delivery service (Send to Kindle).
- OPDS Integration: Crawling and parsing Open Publication Distribution System (OPDS) feeds configured and owned by the user.
- Library Curation: Categorizing personal collections into organized lists (e.g., Reading, To Read, Finished, DNF) with custom local annotations.
You acknowledge that BookBridge does not host, provide, sell, or license any copyrighted e-books. You are solely responsible for acquiring the digital files synced via our service, and you represent that you hold all necessary legal rights or licenses to transmit and store those files.
4. User Accounts & Security
To access certain features of the Service, you may be required to register an account and configure credentials. You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including your username, password, and Kindle email configurations, and for all activities that occur under your account.
You agree to immediately notify BookBridge at support@bookbridge.top of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. BookBridge will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with these security obligations. We reserve the right to reclaim or suspend usernames, or terminate accounts, at our sole discretion, for violations of these Terms or system abuse.
5. Fees, Subscriptions & Billing
Subscription Options: Certain features of the Service may require paid subscription plans ("Premium Features"). By subscribing to Premium Features, you agree to pay all applicable fees, including taxes, as specified during checkout. Subscriptions may be billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis.
Auto-Renewal: To ensure uninterrupted service, all recurring subscriptions are billed in advance and will automatically renew for successive billing cycles of the same duration unless cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the renewal date. If purchased via Apple In-App Purchases, you must manage and cancel the subscription directly through your Apple ID Account Settings.
Payment Processing: We utilize third-party payment processors (such as Stripe or Apple App Store). By submitting your payment details, you authorize us to share this transaction details with our payment partners. We do not store full credit card details on our servers.
Refund Policy: All subscription charges are non-refundable, except as required by law or as expressly permitted under the refund policies of the platform provider (e.g., Apple App Store's Refund Policy). If you believe you were billed in error, please contact us immediately.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
Our Ownership: As between you and BookBridge, the App, the Site, and all code, algorithms, structures, graphics, logos, layouts, buttons, custom fonts, and copyrights contained therein (excluding user-provided book files) are the exclusive property of BookBridge and its licensors. They are protected under United States and international copyright, trademark, and trade secret laws.
License Grant to You: Subject to your compliance with these Terms, BookBridge grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and install a copy of the App on a mobile device that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use.
License Grant to Us: You retain full ownership of all documents, metadata, and e-book files that you upload, sync, or transmit through our Service. However, to enable the wireless syncing features, you hereby grant BookBridge a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, temporary license to process, parse, reformat, and transmit your files to your authorized reading device. This processing is executed in-memory, and files are automatically purged from our caching servers immediately upon successful transmission.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree that you will not use the Service to transmit, store, or organize any files, or engage in any behavior, that:
- Infringes, misappropriates, or violates a third party's patent, copyright, trademark, trade secret, moral rights, or other intellectual property rights;
- Violates, or encourages any conduct that would violate, any applicable law or regulation or would give rise to civil liability;
- Attempts to bypass, decrypt, extract, or tamper with any Digital Rights Management (DRM) systems or digital signatures;
- Disrupts or interferes with the security, integrity, or proper performance of the App's servers, databases, or cloud infrastructure (e.g., automated scraping, denial of service attacks, or uploading malware);
- Redistributes or shares books synced via the service to unauthorized third parties or public forums.
BookBridge operates under a strict policy regarding copyright infringement. Under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"), we will terminate account access for users who are determined to be repeat infringers of intellectual property rights.
8. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with and relies on several third-party services that are outside our direct control, including but not limited to Amazon's Personal Document Service (Send to Kindle), Apple App Store, and external OPDS server directories configured by you. You acknowledge that:
- Amazon's delivery speeds, service stability, file parsing configurations, and account policies are subject to change. BookBridge is not responsible for files rejected, blocked, or delayed by Amazon;
- You must maintain compliance with the terms and conditions of any external OPDS servers you interface with;
- BookBridge does not review, endorse, or verify the safety, accuracy, legality, or copyrights of books located on third-party OPDS catalogs. You access them at your own risk.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties

- Your access to or use of the Service;
- Your uploaded, processed, or synced digital book files;
- Your violation of these Terms; or
- Your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any intellectual property right, privacy right, or copyright law.
12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

Binding Arbitration: Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the breach, termination, enforcement, interpretation, or validity thereof, including the determination of the scope or applicability of this agreement to arbitrate, shall be determined by binding arbitration. The arbitration shall be administered by JAMS pursuant to its Comprehensive Arbitration Rules and Procedures. Judgment on the Award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction.
